Not a whole one. The clay window (about 5 × 6.7 in) fits a baby's hand with room to spare, but an adult hand is too big. That's why most families press their two thumbs together to make a heart, like in our photos, with the baby's handprint right below it.

That's normal, and it's part of the fun. Wait for a calm moment, like after a feed or when they're sleepy, and gently press their palm flat for a second. If the print doesn't come out right, smooth the clay and try again before it dries.

Let it air-dry completely before you paint it. No oven needed. The included instructions walk you through every step.

The clay only touches your baby's hand for a few seconds. Wipe their hand with a damp cloth right after, keep the clay away from their mouth and always supervise.
